Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role supporting a child on a 1:1 basis?

I'm working with a primary school in Darwen seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with additional needs, starting in September 2026. This role involves providing consistent classroom support alongside dedicated sensory time, helping the child engage with learning and feel comfortable in the school environment.

Key Details:

  • Location: Primary school in Darwen
  • Year Group: Year 3
  • Role: 1:1 support, classwork assistance, and sensory support
  • Hours: 8:45am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Contract: Ongoing role

    • Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience
  • Previous experience supporting children with additional needs
  • Ability to build positive relationships and provide consistent support
  • Understanding of classroom support and sensory regulation strategies
