A supportive and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Ilford is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team after Easter
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students with SEND across KS3 and KS4Deliver 1:1 and small‑group interventions tailored to individual needsAdapt learning resources in collaboration with teaching staffAssist with behaviour support and promote an inclusive, positive environmentWork closely with the SENCO and wider support team on student support plansBuild strong, professional relationships with students, staff, and parentsRequirements
To be considered, you must have:
Previous experience working in a UK school setting A degree in any subject (ideal but not essential)Experience supporting students with SEND, such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, SpLD or speech & language needsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA patient, resilient, and proactive mindsetConfidence supporting learning within a busy secondary environment
