Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Ideal for English or History Graduates Are you an English or History graduate with a passion for education? Do you enjoy working with children and young people and want to make a real impact in the classroom? We are looking for an enthusiastic, academically strong graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teaching and learning across the English and/or Humanities departments
  • Work closely with students aged 11-18, providing academic guidance and encouragement
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils with varying abilities
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive and inspiring learning environment
  • Offer 1:1 or small‑group support to help pupils reach their potential

    • We are looking for someone who is:

  • A graduate in English, History, or a related subject with strong academic ability
  • Experienced in working or volunteering with children or young people
  • Reliable, committed and professional, with a genuine desire to support student progress
  • A strong communicator with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about education and possibly considering a future career in teaching
