Location: Havering, London Role: Teaching Assistant Start Date: ASAP Salary: £1,700 - £2,100 per month

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Havering. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and looking for flexible, rewarding work within a supportive school environment.

The school places a strong emphasis on creating a positive, caring and inclusive atmosphere where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every child feels supported, valued and motivated to succeed.

The Role

  • Support pupils across the primary age range

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support where required

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities

  • Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN

  • Help promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement

  • Contribute to a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment

  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development

  • Have experience working with children (school experience preferred)

  • Are confident, reliable and adaptable

  • Have strong communication skills

  • Demonstrate patience and a positive attitude

  • Are passionate about supporting children's learning and development

  • Have an interest in inclusive education
