Teaching Assistant

Veritas Education are working with a large number of secondary mainstream schools within the Leeds area who are on the look out for enthusiastic, reliable and committed teaching assistants to join their staffing team!

The role of a teaching assistant is vital within a secondary school, from supporting the class teacher with the delivery of the lesson and curriculum, to specifically working with a set student or small groups who re requiring more direct learning support and intervention across specific subjects.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a desire to help students learn and promote educational and social development along the way. A teaching assistant must be confident in supporting the learning, help manage behaviour throughout the students and help promote the ethos of the school.
