Veritas Education is currently recruiting an experienced Primary SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time role at a supportive primary school in Tottenham.

This position is ideal for a dedicated SEN TA who has previous experience working in a Special Educational Needs-focused role, supporting primary-aged pupils with additional needs.

The Role:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support within a primary setting

  • Supporting pupils with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

  • Assisting the class teacher with differentiated activities and lesson delivery

  • Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional development

  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

  • Requirements:

  • Experience working in an SEN-focused role (essential)

  • Experience supporting children in a primary school setting

  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
