Veritas Education is currently recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school setting in Tower Hamlets. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual with proven experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCPs
  • Assisting with academic, social, and emotional development
  • Supporting children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning difficulties
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN pupils is essential
  • Experience in a primary or secondary school setting
  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow behaviour and support plans effectively
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
