SEN Teaching Assistant - Tottenham Location: Tottenham, North London Setting: Mainstream Primary School (2 Form Entry) Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing Contract: Full-time, term-time only

We are recruiting a confident and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream 2-form entry primary school in Tottenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled SEN TA who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs in a mainstream classroom environment.

The Role:

  • Providing targeted support to pupils with SEN within a mainstream primary setting
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups across the primary age range
  • Supporting children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language, and learning difficulties
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Helping pupils to engage, build confidence, and make academic progress

    • Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Experience in a mainstream primary school is essential
  • Confident, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
