Veritas Education Agency is currently recruiting a highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a 2-form entry primary school located in Tower Hamlets. The school is Ofsted-rated Good and has a strong reputation for inclusive practice and supportive leadership.

This role is ideal for a confident SEN TA with solid, hands-on experience supporting pupils with additional needs. The school is seeking someone who can make an immediate impact and work effectively as part of a committed SEN team. The position is available for an ASAP start.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs

  • Supporting children with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

  • Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

  • Supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional development throughout the school day

  • Helping pupils access the curriculum and engage positively in classroom activities

  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

    • The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Substantial previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant (essential)

  • Confidence working with children with complex or challenging needs

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • A calm, resilient, and patient approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development

  • Availability to start immediately
