1:1 Teaching Assistant - Secondary School Location: Kensington & Chelsea, London Start Date: January 2026 Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience) Contract: Full-time | Term-time only

We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea to recruit a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional learning needs, starting in January.

The Role:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a secondary-aged pupil

  • Support learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing

  • Work closely with class teachers and SEN staff

  • Assist with adapting resources and supporting behaviour strategies

  • Encourage independence and positive social interaction

    • The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people (secondary or SEN experience preferred)

  • Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach

  • Confident supporting pupils with additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH)

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
