Teaching Assistant - SEN Experience Required Ofsted Good Primary School | Mile End Daily Rate: £85-£115 Start Date: Immediate Employer: Veritas Education Contract: Long-Term

Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant with strong SEN experience to join a well-established Ofsted Good primary school in Mile End. The successful candidate will support pupils across the school, working closely with the SENCO and classroom teachers to ensure all learners can access the curriculum effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, and learning delays.
  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions under the guidance of teaching staff.
  • Support pupils' emotional regulation, behaviour, and communication in line with school policies.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Contribute to planning, assessment, and progress tracking as required.

    • Requirements:

  • Previous SEN experience in a primary school is essential.
  • Strong understanding of common SEN needs and effective support strategies.
  • Ability to build supportive and professional relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to promoting high standards of learning and inclusion.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
