Teaching Assistant - Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 4 & Year 5)

Location: Burnley (near Nelson) Contract: Long-term supply with Veritas Education Start Date: Immediate

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Burnley that is looking for two experienced Teaching Assistants to join their team and support pupils in Upper Key Stage 2.

  • Role 1: Year 4 - until Summer 2026
  • Role 2: Year 5 - until Easter 2026

    What we're looking for:
  • Previous experience supporting pupils in Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 4 or Year 5 preferred)
  • Ability to work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
  • Confidence in supporting pupils with varying needs, including small group and one-to-one work
  • A proactive and caring approach to helping children reach their full potential
