Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Year 6 Support)

Location: Primary Schools in Blackburn, Darwen & Accrington Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Description:

We are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 class in primary schools across Blackburn, Darwen, and Accrington. You will work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support, helping pupils achieve their full potential in preparation for SATs and transition to secondary school.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting
  • Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum and classroom support strategies
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
