  • Location: Newham, East London
  • Pay: Earn up to £105 a day as a Teaching Assistant depending on degree and experience
  • Requirements: Must have experience running Phonics Interventions
  • Hours: Full-Time, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Contract: Long-term, Full-time

    About the Teaching Assistant Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a full-time Teaching Assistant where you will play a crucial role in both the classroom environment and the children's learning journey, whilst developing your skills and knowledge. You will plan, deliver and lead phonics lessons for those who require extra help across KS1.

    Key Responsibilities for Teaching Assistant:

  • Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation.
  • Provide 1-1 support for children with SEN.
  • Adapt learning materials and resources to meet the needs of every child in the classroom.
  • You will plan, deliver and lead phonics lessons for those who require extra help across KS1.
  • Support social and emotional development for all and be a positive role model.

    • Requirements for Teaching Assistant:

  • Minimum education - Undergraduate Degree.
  • Experience working within the education sector is desired.
  • Experience with Phonics Interventions.
  • Academically strong and enthusiastic about education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
  • An enhanced DBS on the online update service is desired but not necessary.
