About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Work with individual pupils or small groups to support their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resource management.
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence and active participation in lessons.
  • Provide additional support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) as required.

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable.
  • A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to making a difference.
  • Relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate) are advantageous but not essential.
