Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (Reception & Year 2)
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive village primary school to recruit two Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for caring, patient, and committed individuals who are passionate about supporting early learning and making a real difference in the classroom.
The Roles
Position 1: 1:1 support for a Reception pupilPosition 2: 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupilWorking closely with the class teacher and SEN team to support learning, engagement, and phonics developmentHours
Monday to Friday, term time only9:00am - 3:30pm30‑minute unpaid breakKey Requirements
Experience working with children in a primary school setting Strong phonics knowledgeA calm, nurturing, and proactive approachAbility to support pupils 1:1 with learning and emotional needsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)What's on Offer
