Position Information
Galston High School is nestled within the semi-rural area of Galston and Dural. Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to Teach Technology mandatory(Stage 4) and Textiles & Design/Textiles Technology(Stage 6).
Approval to teach or preparedness to undertake VET teacher training in Hospitality-Food and Beverage providing the qualification entry benchmark is met.
Demonstrated effective classroom management and well-being practices to build positive learning outcomes.
Demonstrated understanding of differentiation and the needs of gifted and talented students.
Demonstrated high levels of communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, teachers, parents and the wider school community.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
