Position Information
Hoxton Park High School is a comprehensive, co-educational high school that welcomes and accommodates students from different backgrounds and with different learning needs. The school has adopted the four core values of care, respect, participation and excellence. The school population consists of 85% of students from language backgrounds other than English and 31 Indigenous students. There are more than 10 different cultures represented in the school population. Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Technology Mandatory and Industrial Technology Timber.
Demonstrated capacity to plan, implement and deliver innovative teaching programs to differentiate learning and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a collaborative member of the Technological and Applied Studies Faculty.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
