Successful applicants may:
· Upskill on the job with two years of supported teaching experience, or
· Apply for a Teach and Learn Scholarship (Technological and Applied Studies) and receive financial support while completing recognised university-level study, while working.

Located 78 kilometres west of Tamworth in the New England region of NSW, it serves Gunnedah and surrounding rural areas, working alongside experienced teachers dedicated to mentoring and supporting your growth.

Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach Technology Mandatory, OR preparedness to retrain by undertaking further study or via on–the job experience supported by the NSW Department of Education.
Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills with the capacity to work collaboratively and empathetically with teachers, support staff, parents and agencies.
- Capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and contribute to differentiated teaching and learning programs to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students
Conditions
A Relocation Support Payment of $5,000 up to $8,000 will be available for eligible applicants.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
Special Notes
If applicable, engagement will be temporary until successful completion of approved study or on the job experience (must be completed within 24 months).
This advertisement qualifies for permanent part-time employment; therefore, applicants seeking either permanent full-time or permanent part-time work are encouraged to apply. Candidates must indicate their desired FTE (up to the maximum FTE of the advertised position) in their application prior to submission.
