Position Information
Macquarie Fields High School is situated on Dharawal land and is a large inclusive secondary school with 1093 students in comprehensive, selective stream and Special Education classes. The school is culturally and linguistically diverse with 85% of students having language backgrounds other than English and 14 students of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background.

Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Technology Mandatory (7-10), Engineering Studies, Industrial Technology - Timber and Graphics.

Evidence of effective classroom practice that includes the ability to cater for students with a diverse range of learning needs through differentiated curriculum, classroom management and integration of technology.

Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative member of the TAS faculty and contribute to faculty programs and resources. 

Well-developed interpersonal, communicative, and organisational skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the community. 

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
