Position Information
Carlingford High School, (enrolment 1910 students, including 84% from a non-English speaking background) is a comprehensive, co-educational school, with a strong commitment to and expectation of excellence. Specific Selection Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position.
In addition to the general criteria, Approval to teach Technology Mandatory (7-8) and Food Technology.
Approval to teach or preparedness to undertake VET teacher training in Hospitality providing the qualification entry benchmark is met.
Ability to develop and deliver effective and engaging teaching programs and to cater for the needs of students from non-English speaking backgrounds. Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
