This unique opportunity offers the support and flexibility required to set you up for success as a Technology Mandatory, and Information Processes and Technology teacher.
Successful applicants may:
Upskill on the job with two years of supported teaching experience, or
Apply for a Teach and Learn Scholarship (TAS) and receive financial support while completing recognised university-level study, while working.

Concord High School is a large, dynamic, comprehensive setting with approximately 1300 students from a broad range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, with 70% of students from Non-English Speaking Background (NESB). The 3 Deputy Principals and 100 teaching staff are experienced, high-performing and have high expectations of successful student outcomes. There are a wide range of wellbeing and extra-curricular programs in place designed to ensure that all students are engaged and well supported in their learning. The school is set in picturesque surroundings in the inner western suburbs of Sydney. Priorities in the 2026-2029 School Plan focus on Academic Achievement, Student Engagement and Building Capacity of staff and students to achieve to their full potential.
Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8), and Information Processes and Technology or preparedness to retrain by undertaking further study or via on–the job experience supported by the NSW Department of Education.
Ability to develop, teach and evaluate quality programs and assessment tasks that cater for a wide range of student learning needs.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to contribute collaboratively and effectively to an innovative faculty and whole school programs.
Demonstrated experience in successfully integrating technology to support quality teaching and learning.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
Special Notes
If applicable, engagement will be temporary until successful completion of approved study or on the job experience (must be completed within 24 months).
