Position Information
Asquith Girls High School is committed to developing young women who are independent and responsible learners and leaders, able to work cooperatively as future citizens. Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Approval to teach Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8), Hospitality-Food and Beverage, Information Processes & Technology. Willingness to teach Design and Technology, Information and Software Technology.
Demonstrated ability to design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs that extend all students and improve student outcomes through explicit teaching, use of formative and summative data and reflective practice.
Capacity to work collaboratively within the Technological and Applied Studies faculty, contribute to whole school STEM, Literacy and Numeracy programs, enrichment opportunities that promote learner empowerment for all students, including the High Potential and Gifted students.
Proven ability to lead innovative TAS teaching, implement data-driven strategies, and mentor colleagues to enhance student learning outcomes through contemporary practices.
Drives exceptional student outcomes, cultivates strong industry and family partnerships to enhance TAS programs, and foster a collaborative growth within the team
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
