Having recently undertaken external validation, our school is in the process of consultation to develop the next phase of school excellence. We maintain a strong focus on student growth and attainment, wellbeing, staff growth and school and community partnerships. Our connections continue to be strengthened through our VET, Transition2Work and post-school pathway initiatives, including university connections. All staff play an active role in diverse School Excellence Teams to promote school improvement. We have a strong learning and wellbeing culture, driven by the Neurosequential Model of Education (NME) as a mode of delivery and support for students, Positive Behaviour for Learning frameworks, a signature pedagogy of Visible Thinking and a focus on high-quality learning experiences.
We continue our emphasis on the development of students who are active, critical, and creative thinkers. The school is committed to continually improving effective classroom practices with staff professional learning being the key to this growth.
