Position Information
Gloucester High School is a comprehensive school serving the communities of the Bucketts Way. Our school has a student population of approximately 310 students, of which 13% are of Aboriginal heritage. Our students come from both rural farming backgrounds and from the local town and surrounding villages.

This position is for a full-time Mandatory Technology and Industrial Technology Timber teacher, years 7 - 12.
Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach Technology Mandatory Stage 4
- Approval to teach Industrial Technology Stages 5 & 6 (Subjects: ITW Industrial Technology-Timber)
- Demonstrated effective classroom management and well-being practices to build positive learning outcomes
- Demonstrated capacity to plan, implement and deliver innovative teaching programs to differentiate learning and engage students.
- Demonstrated high levels of communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, teachers, parents and the wider school community.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
Special Notes
Successful applicants may be eligible to a relocation support payment of up to $8,000.
Applicants seeking either permanent full time or permanent part time employment are encouraged to apply for this position. If the recommended applicant is seeking permanent part time employment (FTE from 0.1 to 0.9 inclusive), they will be offered an appointment at their desired FTE.
