About this job

Position Information

Nirimba Fields Public School opened for students in Kindergarten to Year 6 at the beginning of 2024. Located in the northwest growth corridor of Sydney, it is expected to experience rapid growth in enrolments in the first 5 years of operation. The school has recently moved into a brand new building and will also open a new public preschool in 2027. Currently there are 296 students from diverse cultural backgrounds, with 94% of students having a language background other than English. Located in the Quakers Hill Network of schools, the school is situated on Dharug land and is an active member of the Nurringingy Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) and the Blacktown Learning Community of schools.

Nirimba Fields Public School is a vibrant and inclusive place of learning. It is anticipated that the school environment will continually evolve due to growing enrolments, recruitment of personnel, development and refinement of procedures and collaborative visioning processes. The school values diversity and is actively building a culture of connectedness, inclusion and belonging with students, staff, parents and the wider community. Our staff are committed to working collaboratively to create an outstanding school, where equity and excellence will support every student to learn, grow and belong, whilst achieving their full potential.

Specific Selection Criteria
