Position Information

John Palmer Public School is a large, dynamic, and student-centred school located in The Ponds, a rapidly growing area in North West Sydney (enrolment 960, 68% LBOTE). The school’s facilities have recently been upgraded. These finished facilities now include a hub of three support classes and an early intervention class, state of the art classrooms and library, enhancing the learning environment and resources available to all students.

Specific Selection Criteria

 

Approval and or willingness to teach Early Intervention.

Ability to design, deliver and evaluate differentiated teaching and learning programs for Inclusive class settings / early intervention to make all children feel valued and supported.

Evidence of outstanding classroom management skills that creates a positive learning environment and promotes inclusive practices.

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, carers and key stakeholders to improve student outcomes. 

 

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
