Position Information
Eschol Park Public School is located in South West Sydney on Dharawal land and serves a diverse community. It is part of the St Andrews Network of schools for the Department of Education.
350 students are enrolled at Eschol Park Public School where students from a Language Background Other Than English (LBOTE) make up 39% of the school population and 11% of students identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.

Specific Selection Criteria
1. Approval to teach special education and/or willingness to teach special education, with proven skills in applying strategies to support communication, sensory, behavioural and social needs of students.
2. Demonstrated ability to differentiate the curriculum by developing and implementing personalised learning and support that maximises student growth, fosters high expectations and promotes student engagement.
3. Evidence of successful classroom management with flexible and adaptive strategies that create a positive learning environment.
4. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to collaboratively build positive relationships with students, colleagues, families and external agencies.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
