Position Information

Campsie Public School (CPS) is a vibrant, high-performing school located in the heart of Campsie’s CBD, serving 515 students from a diverse and multilingual community where 97% come from over 40 language backgrounds, including Chinese, Nepali, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Korean. CPS provides enrichment opportunities for high potential and high performing learners, alongside strong student leadership pathways through school captains and prefects, the SRC, the Green Team, Koori Club, buddy programs and student-led clubs. The school hosts four specialist classes, three AU and one AU/IO that offer structured, supportive learning environments staffed by specialist teachers and SLSOs, ensuring personalised plans, evidence-informed practice and meaningful inclusion across the school. Campsie PS is home to the only Korean Bilingual Program in NSW and offers four community languages and four other languages, with many students studying one or more additional languages. The school maintains strong partnerships as a University of Sydney Professional Experience (PEX) Hub, supporting high-quality induction for preservice teachers, and collaborates across Community of Schools networks to strengthen teaching practice and expand opportunities in the arts.
