Position Information
Warren Central School is a vibrant K–12 school located in the township of Warren and serving the surrounding rural areas. The school caters to 238 students, with approximately 61% identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. Specific Selection Criteria
1. Approval to Teach 7-12 Science and Stage 6 Biology.
2. Ability to design, deliver and evaluate innovative teaching and learning programs to cater for a diverse range of learners.
3. Demonstrated ability to use effective classroom management skills and wellbeing practices to create a learning environment that is engaging and fosters a culture of high expectations.
4. Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with the capacity to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
