Position Information

Rouse Hill High School is a comprehensive High School with 1300 students and a teaching staff of 96. In addition to our mainstream, the school has one autism class and one support class. Stage six students study the Higher School Certificate using the compressed curriculum model. The school has a focus on collaborative practice to improve teaching practice and student outcomes. The school is supported by small but active P&C.

Specific Selection Criteria
  • Approval to teach Science and Physics with experience differentiating for a wide range of learning needs.
  • Proven ability to integrate information communication technologies (ICT) into teaching and learning to extend and engage students. 
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships with the whole school community.
Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
