About this job

Position Information

Chifley College Dunheved Campus is situated on Dharug Country, bordered by Wianamaata Creek to the north and nestled within the rich Cumberland Plain Woodland. As an individual campus within the federation of five schools that make up Chifley College, we celebrate the Aboriginal heritage of the Land. Our community respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians and honours the wisdom of Elders—past, present, and emerging.

The school currently enrols 590 students, including an eight-class Support Unit that caters to students with a range of needs, including mild to moderate disabilities and autism. 30% of students identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, while a further 32% come from backgrounds where English is an Additional Language or Dialect, predominantly Pacific Islander. Over the past six years, the school has experienced a steady increase in enrolments.

The school receives significant funding to support student learning outcomes through the Resource Allocation Model (RAM). This includes equity loadings to address the needs of students from Aboriginal backgrounds, students requiring English language support, those with low-level disabilities, and students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
