Position Information

Casula High School is a coeducational, comprehensive educational setting that currently has 1250 students enrolled, including 4% Aboriginal students and 60% students from a non-English speaking background. The staff and parent groups at the school have a deep commitment to the school and the growth, wellbeing and learning of all students. Specific Selection Criteria
  1. Approval to teach Personal Development, Health and Physical Education and Community and Family Studies.
  2. Capacity to plan and deliver differentiated teaching and learning programs to engage students from a range of diverse backgrounds.
  3. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to contribute to faculty planning and develop positive relationships within the school community.

  4. Capacity to contribute to sport and extra-curricular activities in school including gala days, carnivals, and knockout competitions.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
