Position Information

St Marys Senior High School is an academically comprehensive high school which enrols approximately 900 students in Years 11 and 12 in preparation for the Higher School Certificate. Its charter is to increase the range of educational options available to post compulsory students in Western Sydney, as well as enhancing their educational outcomes.

During the past five years the school has implemented a variety of initiatives focused on teacher quality and professional learning, integrated use of technology in all aspects of the school community, student engagement and retention, and innovative practice. Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Mathematics Years 7-12 with evidence of successful and dynamic teaching practice in Mathematics Advanced and Standard Years 11 and 12.

Approval to teach Information Processes & Technology (IPT).

Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into professional practice.

Demonstrated capacity to work as a collaborative member across multiple faculties.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
