Position Information
Carlingford High School, (enrolment 1630 students, including 73% from a non-English speaking background) is a comprehensive, co-educational school, with a strong commitment to and expectation of excellence. The delivery of quality literacy programs, the promotion of student well-being, and the ongoing development of high quality teaching and learning programs are key strategic directions. Specific Selection Criteria
1. Approval to teach secondary library or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
2. Capacity to effectively manage a school library including the use of technology to assist students in accessing, evaluating and synthesising information.
4.Highly developed interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning programs in the library and across the school.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
