Position Information
Jindabyne High School relocated to its new site in 2025, nestled on Ngarigo land at the base of the Snowy Mountains, two hours south of Canberra.
Home to approximately 300 students (with 3% identifying as Aboriginal), we foster equity, resilience, and a love of learning through collective efficacy and a commitment to personal best. Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Japanese (years 7-12)

Demonstrated capacity to develop and deliver quality, differentiated teaching and learning programs and assessment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships with students, staff and parents.

Proven ability to implement effective classroom management skills and wellbeing practices, creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment that fosters high expectations and student success.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
