Entry into Year 7 is via an entrance examination, which is conducted by the Selective High Schools and Opportunity Class Placement Unit of the Department of Education. Entry into available places in Years 8 to 12 is determined by the school and is based on evidence of consistent academic excellence at the applicant’s former school. Students are encouraged to be well rounded individuals and to participate in leadership opportunities, bands programs, cadets, sporting pursuits, Duke of Edinburgh award and a wide range of extracurricular activities.
