Position Information

Cumberland High School (CHS) is a comprehensive high school, with a population of 1200 students, located in Carlingford. The school has a diverse cultural population including 73.9% non-English speaking background and 57 different languags. Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Food Technology and Technology Mandatory.
Ability to design and implement quality lessons that meet the needs of all students.
Capacity to contribute to the TAS faculty and other school teams to support student learning and wellbeing.

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive, respectful relationships with students, staff and families.


 

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
