Position Information

Condobolin High School is an inclusive, comprehensive secondary school located in the township of Condobolin on the lands of the Wiradjuri people. With a proud history of providing education to the students of Condobolin and its surrounding areas for over 150 years, the school remains a cornerstone of the local community. Situated near the geographic centre of New South Wales, Condobolin is home to approximately 3,500 people, with key industries including agriculture, trades, mining, education, and local business. The school currently has an enrolment of 209 students, with 112 (53%) identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. The school continues to see an increasing number of students from EAL/D backgrounds. To support diverse student needs, Condobolin High School has expanded its Inclusive Education provision to four classes, ensuring equitable access to quality learning opportunities. Students in Stage 6 engage in the Lachlan Access Program, a long-established initiative that enables students to study a broad range of senior courses within their community. Teachers work collaboratively across schools to deliver curriculum using a blended learning approach that integrates online and face-to-face instruction. Condobolin High School offers a broad range of extracurricular activities designed to foster student engagement, community involvement, and personal development. From local beautification projects to leadership initiatives, students are encouraged to contribute meaningfully to their community. The school has strong partnerships with local businesses and cultural organisations, which provide students with valuable work experience and pathways beyond school.
