Position Information
Eagle Vale High School is a comprehensive high school situated in the Macarthur Region. We serve the communities of Eagle Vale, Kearns, Claymore, Eschol Park, Blair Athol and Blairmount. The school is a vibrant, culturally diverse community of 21 nationalities with an enrolment of approximately 600 students, including 10% Aboriginal.
In 2024 Eagle Vale High School has begun the process of establishing at Targeted Sports Program (TSP) stream which allows talented and dedicated sportspeople to continue their development in their chosen sport, whilst also striving for academic excellence. We are excited to be welcoming our first cohorts in 2025, starting with Year 7 and Year 9.
At Eagle Vale High School, student success is at the centre of all decision-making processes. The school is committed to continuous improvement through professional development, to embed high impact teacher practice that supports a shared understanding of the learning process to develop a high-support, high-expectations environment.
Specific Selection Criteria
1. Approval to teach Visual Arts, and willing to teach Photography & Digital Media.
4. Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the community.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
