Position Information

Engadine High School is a co-educational comprehensive secondary school located in the southern suburbs of Sydney. The school has an enrolment of approximately 1000 students from a range of cultural backgrounds. We seek a classroom teacher who can contribute to a collaborative faculty environment, design and deliver quality programs, and support whole-school initiatives that promote student engagement, wellbeing, and a positive learning culture.


 

Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach in the following NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) approved subjects/teaching areas:

 

Community and Family Studies (CFS)
 Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE)
 Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation / Physical Activity and Sport (SLR)

 

Proven ability to design, implement and evaluate high-quality programs and resources that promote a culture of high expectations and inclusivity for a diverse range of student needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a faculty team and contribute constructively to school and faculty priorities.

 

Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective teaching practices aligned with contemporary educational research and curriculum requirements.


 

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
