Position Information
Henry Kendall High School is a coeducational comprehensive high school with a student enrolment of approximately 800 students including 49 students in the Special Education Centre and 65 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. The school community is diverse with 49 cultural backgrounds. Henry Kendall High School is located near the CBD of Gosford City.

Specific Selection Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position with approval to teach careers.
Demonstrated ability to implement a holistic careers program supporting students to develop career goals, explore career options and create effective career and transition strategies.
Capacity to effectively guide students, parents and carers to understand how the curriculum, subject selection, HSC, further education and training, as well as employment, impact career decisions.
Strong knowledge of and experience to coordinate external curriculum links that support student learning opportunities with specific reference to tertiary study, TAFE and SBAT’s.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills essential for building strong connections across the school community and external stakeholders.Approval to teach careers.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
