Position Information
Bonnet Bay Public School is a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in the serene bushland environment along the Woronora River, nestled within Sydney’s southern Sutherland Shire. Serving a close-knit community, our school comprises nine classes and 205 students, including a diverse population with 4% identifying as Aboriginal and 8% from English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) backgrounds.

Specific Selection Criteria
1. Approval to teach Infants and Primary (K-6) with a demonstrated ability to achieve high quality, explicit, differentiated teaching and learning outcomes in Literacy and Numeracy.
2. Evidence of exemplary classroom practice with the ability to use effective assessment as well as data analysis tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
3. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and a proven capacity to work with students, staff and parents collaboratively withing our dedicated school community.
4. Demonstrated ability, experience and willingness to lead a range of extracurricular opportunities such as PSSA Sport, Dance, Choir and Debating.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.

This position is to commence 27th January 2027.
