About the Role:
We are seeking two enthusiastic and committed Teacher Aides to join our team and support our diverse learners, including students in our Behaviour Support , Flexi Space , ILC and Engagement Unit.
In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to support student learning, engagement and wellbeing.
You will play an important part in helping create inclusive learning environments where every student can succeed.
These positions require flexibility, as you may support students across a range of settings, including classrooms, specialist areas, playground supervision, and the First Aid Room.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting students with diverse learning and behavioural needs in the classroom
- Assisting with literacy and numeracy activities, including reading support
- Helping implement learning programs and behaviour support strategies under teacher guidance
- Building positive, respectful relationships with students to support engagement
- Assisting with school activities such as excursions, sporting events and practical lessons
- Providing general administrative and classroom support to teaching staff
- Assisting with student supervision, including playground and bus duties
- Supporting student health, safety and wellbeing, including providing first aid where required
- Preparing and maintaining teaching resources and learning environments
- Contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment
