About the Role
As a Teacher Aide at Lowood State High School, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities, resource preparation, and administrative tasks.
- Supporting students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
- Helping supervise practical lessons, excursions, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintaining anecdotal records and assisting with clerical duties such as compiling class rolls and exam results.
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students.
This role would suit someone who is adaptable, empathetic, and committed to fostering student success in a secondary school setting.
