Ithaca Creek State School is located in the beautiful, leafy and centrally located suburb of Bardon. Teacher Aides enjoy working school hours and having school holidays off.

About the Role:

Teacher Aide will support and work across all year levels (Prep - Year 6)

Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to follow directions from classroom teacher and school leaders and report concerns directly to their line manager;
  • Adaptability to cater a diverse range of student needs, displaying patience, understanding, tact and sensitivity to students and families;
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member; and
  • Supervision of students on the playground, bus, during sporting activities and school excursions in partnership with a teacher.

About You:

Ideal candidate will have following knowledge and skills:

  • Reading and competent literacy and numeracy skills to support students;
  • Flexibility;
  • Willingess to work as part of a team; and
  • Be reliable and consistent.
