About the Role
This role involves supporting teaching and learning within a multi-age Year 3/4 classroom and assisting with library services. You will play a key role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students while helping to maintain an organised and welcoming library space.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers with the preparation and organisation of learning materials and activities.
- Supporting students with reading, literacy, and numeracy activities, both individually and in small groups.
- Providing assistance with library services, including resource organisation, student borrowing, and maintaining an inviting library space.
- Supervising and assisting students during school activities, excursions, and playground time.
- Contributing to the welfare, health, and safety of students, including the delivery of first aid if required.
