Your opportunity:

As the Teacher Aide, your responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Maintain workshop tools, machines and equipment through regular sharpening, servicing and repairs.
  • Prepare materials for student projects, including cutting, building jigs/fixtures, and organising consumables.
  • Keep workshops, storage areas and resource rooms tidy, organised and well‑stocked.
  • Manage equipment and assets by engraving/labeling new items, replacing missing tools, and supporting annual stocktake.
  • Oversee safe storage and replenishment of materials such as timber, steel, plastics, adhesives and finishes.
  • Identify purchasing needs and report damage or maintenance issues to the HOD or teachers.
  • Maintain compliance records, including updating the Chemical Register and completing Equipment Maintenance Reports.
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member
