About the Role
We are seeking a Temporary Teacher Aide to join our team and support the delivery of quality education. This role involves assisting teachers in preparing and enhancing learning materials, supporting students in various settings, and contributing to their overall wellbeing and development. The position is 5 hours per day on Thursdays and Fridays, commencing January 2026.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers in preparing and managing teaching materials and resources.
- Supporting students in small groups or one-on-one to enhance learning outcomes, including literacy and numeracy activities.
- Supervising and assisting students during classroom activities, playground time, and school excursions.
- Providing clerical support, including typing, photocopying, and maintaining student records.
- Contributing to the welfare, health, and safety of students, including delivering first aid if required (training provided).
This role would suit a patient and empathetic individual who enjoys working with children in a supportive and collaborative environment.
