About our School:
The Brisbane School of Distance Education (BSDE) provides lessons in an on-line environment to over 3000 students. Our school has a history of providing a unique learning environment for students who are located in a variety of settings across Queensland, Australia and the world. We are a leader in online delivery of learning for students. About the Role:
- Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities.
- The applicant should be knowledgeable with One School functionality, Microsoft Suite and school compliance.
- Training will be provided to the successful applicant on the use of "Teams" which is used to deliver daily lessons.
- Knowledge of Education Qld policy and DOE standards are critical.
- The role supports HODS, Teachers, Students and Parents, in providing a high-level service relevant to an on-line school.
About You:
- Excellent communication skills.
- High level I.T. skills as many tasks are performed on-line.
- Ability to work under the direction of a teacher in on-line classes.
- Ability to problem solve and be flexible.
Please note: One of the working days must be Friday - the other day is flexible and will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
The successful candidate must be available to commence work no later than 8:00am, as school lessons are delivered online between 8:00am and 2:00pm daily.
